How to 3D Print: Zoom Recording For Interested Folks

I think in a previous post I have talked about the Bengal Club of Bay Area (BCBA), an association my parents are associated with that promotes Indian cultural events. They also keep events for community outreach. One of the events was a Zoom session that I hosted to introduce 3D printing to whoever wanted to know.

BCBA had promoted the event through Facebook.  I hope I was able to make some people curious about how the stuff works. I enjoyed my first Zoom event.

If you want a quick introduction to the amazing possibilities with 3D printing, watch the recorded event.

Get Your Soap from Me

Something new this Spring break!!  My friend came over to our place with soap ingredients from Michaels. There was goat milk, 2 boxes of lavender incense, molds and food coloring. I would definitely use these... would you?

MUSD 2022 STEAM Showcase

Today we displayed our projects to guests and judges. My booth was pretty busy. People were curious how to know how to build a heart-beat sensor using an Arduino and a Pulse Sensor!! The Assembly Member from Milpitas, Alex Lee, also came to see our projects. And so did the district director, Anurag Pal. We have the common last name ... and for that he gave me his business card :-) The MHS Science Olympiad team had a cool project ... a rubber band powered plane that keeps flying in circles ... and comes down as the rubber band unwinds. Its an example of potential energy getting converted to kinetic energy. Here is the video MUSD posted my project on their website. Here is the link
