I went on a school trip to Washington D.C on 4th June. There were around 47 people that went, mix of 8th graders and 9th graders. We were supposed to go to D.C last year, but the pandemic got it cancelled. Anyways, me and my parents went to SFO. When I was in the car, I was nervous because this was the first time that I will be in a different place for 5 days! The longest that I stayed in a place without my parents was in my 5th grade science camp which lasted for 3 days. My parents dropped me off and left. I was super confused on what should I do. My history teacher, Ms. Woodhams, saw me and gave me my plane ticket. She told me to wait here while everyone else comes. After everyone reached, we went to the security.
